A redesign of the book 1984 by George Orwell
1984, is a dystopian novel by English writer George Orwell published in June 1949.
The novel is set in the year 1984 when most of the world population have become victims of perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance and propaganda.

George Orwell described a totalitarian regime where the government surveillances its people and freedom of speech was absent.
Today, the Chinese state is setting up a vast ranking system that will monitor the behavior of its enormous population, and ranks them all based on their social credit.
Or North Korea, where freedom of speech does not exist, where the dictatorship and one-party-state rules above everything and where public executions and fear are a daily reality.

The redesign 2000 is built on three mediums:
// There is some of the original text from the book, that fits its chapter
war is peace, freedom is slavery or ignorance is strength
// There are images and pictures of the translation to today's world
// There are real newspaper articles explaining the images plus the parallels of what George Orwell foresaw in today's world.
The book 1984 ends with the protagonist being tortured to the point where he got so brainwashed, that he gave in and actually loved big brother and everything it came with. It's a sad ending with an honest reality.
